Federico Naccarato

Advisor for A painting for Marguerite

Federico is a Startup Founder and Innovation Consultant. Always on the move, travelling the world.

After completing a BA in Economics, and a Master in Business Administration, he co-founded three companies, which he brought from early strategy design phase to business scale-up. This experience founding and driving early stage companies gained him a role as Consultant for Startupbootcamp Mobile, one of Europe’s leading tech accelerators, based in Copenhagen.

Shortly after, Federico moved to Berlin, taking on the role of Programme Manager at Med-Tech, an acceleration programme focusing on medical innovations having a strong social angle (the so-called “tech for good”). Here he has been responsible for scouting, evaluating and advising the Startups and Associate companies attending the programme, providing them with strategic guidance on how to bridge the gap between the world of innovation the one of corporate Pharma.

During that time, as a Senior Associate at NewSquare, he also helped developing innovative support programs for corporates and Governmental organizations, leading workshops around Europe on Human Centered Design, Agile Development and Lean Startup methodologies.

He then worked as a Senior Project Manager at the United Nations World Food Program Innovation Accelerator, actively managing projects in East Africa, Middle East and Central America. Giving him the great opportunity to leverage his skills and his past professional experience to help developing innovative solutions that can make an impact in the fight against hunger.

Currently he is the Head of Innovation of the United Nations World Food Programme Kenya.

The one thing that drives Federico in anything he does is passion. He loves to travel and to be in the Nature. Everywhere he goes he carries a photo camera, always ready to take a picture in the most remote areas of the world. When he is not with his feet on land, he is in the ocean looking for a wave to surf or for a fish to catch with his fly-fishing rod.
